2023 NEQMAP Annual Meeting

Overview

The Network for Education Quality Monitoring in the Asia-Pacific (NEQMAP) successfully concluded its 2023 Annual Meeting, marking a significant milestone – a decade of dedicated efforts towards enhancing educational quality in the Asia-Pacific region. This year’s event not only celebrated our 10-year anniversary but also provided a platform for our members to share, discuss, and learn from each other’s research, practices, and experiences in learning assessment.

Main Objectives

  1. Promoting knowledge sharing on learning assessment among NEQMAP members.
  2. Strengthening NEQMAP’s capacity in knowledge-sharing, capacity building, and research around learning assessment.
  3. Celebrating a decade of impactful work by the Network.

Key Highlights

Knowledge Sharing Sessions: Members presented on various themes, including ‘Assessment for Learning in a Post-COVID-19 Era’, ‘Leveraging AI in Learning Assessment’, and ‘Equity and Inclusion in Assessment’.
Planning for 2024: The meeting was instrumental in defining NEQMAP’s 2024 plan of activities, aligning with our 2020-2024 Strategy.
Poster Exhibition: A visual celebration of our members’ milestones over the past 10 years, showcasing the innovations, challenges, and triumphs in education.
