Workshop: Data Quality and Accuracy for Large-Scale Learning Assessment Programmes (Bangkok, Thailand)

The Network on Education Quality Monitoring in the Asia-Pacific (NEQMAP) Secretariat at UNESCO Bangkok, in collaboration with the Australian Council for Education Research (ACER) and with the generous support of the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), organised a four-day workshop from 12 to 15 March 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand.

The workshop focused on data quality and accuracy for learning assessment programmes. In particular, the workshop provided an overview of key quality concepts of learning assessment as well as quality assurance in different stages of assessment programmes (e.g., from test design to data analysis), with a specific focus on sampling, data collection and data management. The main target audience was government officials or technical experts who are involved in and responsible for sampling, data collection and data management of the learning assessment programme in the respective countries.
