
Teaching and Learning Educators’ Network for Transformation (TALENT) is organizing an interactive learning series on teaching and learning 21st Century skills facilitated through the UNESCO’s International Institute for Educational Planning Learning (IIEP) Portal. The objective of the learning series is to increase participants’ knowledge on key concepts related to teaching and assessing 21st Century skills and share experiences to gather additional promising practices for the integration of 21st Century skills in the curriculum, pedagogy and assessment, and policy and planning cycles. The learning series is funded through the Global Partnership for Education’s Assessment for Learning (A4L) Initiative.
Starting 22 October, participate in the Teaching and Learning Educators’ Network for Transformation (TALENT) online learning series hosted by the IIEP Learning Portal. This series is a unique opportunity to learn with experts from around the world on planning, teaching, and assessing 21st Century skills, and participate in discussions with other education decision-makers!
- Session #1: An introduction to 21st Century Skills
Date: 22 October 2020 (11am CEST) - This session will explore the nature of 21st Century skills, identify how they can contribute to better learning outcomes, and discuss what it is about these skills that requires special attention to their integration.
- Session #2: Pedagogical Practices and Assessment
Date: 5 November 2020 (11am CET) - This session will explore the implications of including 21st Century skills learning goals into teaching and assessment.
- Session #3: Policies and Planning
Date: 19 November 2020 (11am CET) - This session will explore the gaps between the inclusion of 21st Century skills in education plans and policies and the lack of integration in education sector implementation plans.
