NEQMAP’s 7th Annual Meeting: Education Quality Monitoring for SDG4-Education 2030

The Network on Education Quality Monitoring in the Asia-Pacific (NEQMAP) at UNESCO Bangkok, with support from the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), will organise its 7th Annual Meeting and 7th NEQMAP Steering Group Meeting on 11th – 13th November 2019 on Education Quality Monitoring for SDG4-Education 2030. NEQMAP, a programme under UNESCO, serves as a regional platform supporting the Member States in the Asia-Pacific in monitoring the quality of education and ensuring alignment of education systems with the SDG 4-Education 2030. The meeting objectives of this year are i) sharing updates of NEQMAP members’ on-going activities in alignment with the SDG4-Education 2030, and ii) facilitating discussions and exchanges of ideas on NEQMAP’s efforts and its role as a regional network to address the challenges that exist in the quality of education. The NEQMAP Programme Evaluation and the preliminary findings conducted by an external consultant will be presented to the NEQMAP members at the meeting.

NEQMAP will be seeking inputs and feedback to its current and future strategy and activities. For example, how can NEQMAP enable and assist countries to monitor the SDG4 targets? All NEQMAP members are invited to discuss how best NEQMAP can situate itself to better inform and enhance quality education across the region.
