Improvement Plan of the Subject Curricula based on the Key Competencies: Focusing on the Alignment of Curriculum, Teaching and Learning Methods, and Educational Assessment

This study report examines the directions for improvements in the subject curricula and suggests directional changes for the development of key competencies in the subjects Korean language, social studies, and physical education. It prepares a comprehensive subject curriculum improvement plan that includes a consistent set of curriculum, teaching and learning methods, and educational assessment system after exploring directions for the development of key competencies. It also checks for the requirements for developing an effective subject curriculum improvement plan and facilitate public discourse though the proposal of policies.
