“A Guide to Action Research: Improving Professional Practice of Teachers in Bhutan” intends to assist teachers and school leaders in planning, and conducting action research projects to improve their instructional and educational management practices. Among other strategies, action research is a powerful strategy that can be used by teachers to study their own pedagogical practices, implement interventions to improve upon and refine their pedagogical practices. Action research can also be used by school leaders to study school improvement and management plans, activities and initiate changes to enhance the school ambience.
